January Meeting

Postby tracer197 » Wed Dec 23, 2009 6:45 pm

I figure if we start thinking about it early, we might get something planned out ahead of time. We need a time, a place and ideas for what to do.

I'm thinking end of January for the time, but I've go nothin for the rest.

It would be cool if someone could share or demo some LPS frag techniques. 8-)

I'm coming down again, don't know the day yet. But hopefully it will work out. If not I propose a mini meet. I'll be there a couple of days this time.

Yay, planning early!

I propose we pick a date that works for everyone who couldn't make it to the Dec meeting. So Palmer, JoeM, and blugirl (and anyone else I'm forgetting) let us know :)

Well to me it makes the most since to have the meeting on a weekend becuase most people are too busy during the week. that leaves open the 2nd, 3rd, 9th, 10th, 16th, 17th, 23rd, 24th, 30th, 31st. I think that the 2nd and or 3rd would not work becuase it is so close to the new year and people porbably will be busy. any thoughts?

Agreed, and I'd probably avoid the weekend of the 16th and 17th, since Monday the 18th is Martin Luther King, Jr. day and some people get that off and take trips since its a long weekend, but we'll see what the group wants to do.

I would like to see it late Saturday or any time on Sunday. I work retail and have to work Satuday mornings. Something that I would like to see done is making fish food. I know it has been talked about but not sure it has been done.
Thanks

I'm ready. Any day works for me for a meeting. Let's see when x-ray can make it from the North and Foam Jockey from the south.

I can host on Saturdays late afternoon on the 9th,16th, or 23rd. My first choice would be 3:--pm Saturday the 23rd. But I have no problem having a meeting earlier.

well one of my jobs has me working graveyard (12-8am) Wens- Sat, so possibly later Saturday could work if I am not to wobbly or better Sunday. I am just trying to get used to this juggling 3 jobs thing! Side note, you all should see how dark green the phyto from the October meeting is getting. And now I am trying to grow pods we'll see how that works in a couple of weeks.

The wife and I are in a debate about coming down on the long weekend of the 16-18th....edit

She walked in the office and I told her what I posted and she said I could go back if I wanted to. 23rd will work for me now, also.

I just wanted to get my vote in. Jan 30th works best for me. Would anyone like a later start time? Say like 6pm? For those of us with kids in sports or activities, they usually last between noon and 5pm on Saturdays.
