November Meeting

For the November meeting we are going to visit the valley's newest saltwater store, D.C. Saltwater Aquatics! Erik says he'll have lots of cool stuff in the tanks and there will be some great finger foods and desserts. So, Saturday November 14th at noon, meet there for some fun!

Directions: Follow the parks hwy to church rd. turn right and follow church rd. to north pittman rd. (there is a fire station on the corner. Turn left and follow north pittman rd. to north farmfields (on the left). Turn left onto north farmfields and it's the first drive on the right.

Car pool anyone ?
Any potential for doing a few "tank tour stops" after D.C.'s to look at corals. I have heard they can grow some good stuff in the valley.....corals that is.

If I can make it I could possibly depending on the roads bring the van. Depending on interest i can through in more seats. It is a 15 passenger van. Now I have room for 5 and a bunch of buckets of sand for weight but could easily add more seating.

just rememberes, i cant gaurentee my attendance becuase i have a basketball tournament friday and saturday and i do not know what time im playing on saturday. ill be able to answer later this week.

Wish I could make it. I work until 4:00 on Saturday. It would be great if you could post some pics after the meeting.
Flash, If you want to see some tanks out in the valley I would recommend looking up Jason Cobb. He has some nice corals and a HUGE vlamingii tang that is just amazing. We haven't heard from Chugalug recently either but she has a nice big tank out that way too.

Ok, i'm going to bail on Saturday (i know, i know) but i just have a ton of stuff going on and i just don't think I can make it happen... Hope you guys have fun!!! Take some pics!

Reminder the meeting is tomorrow! Lets get a good group together. We live in Eagle River and the roads haven't been that bad. Also I hear the weather is suppose to be better tomorrow. So come out if you can. Hope to see lots of people there!

I got a note that Eric should be getting an order in for Saturday. He has set up 4 more tanks (2 coral frag tanks and 2 fish tanks). If the order comes in on time the store will have 48 more mixed corals and a few new fish. He mentioned blasto welli, acan lord, and acropora. I'm in the market for a coral or two to grow out. Got Styrofoam box, will travel. I would like to carpool if possible- I have 3 extra seats or would like to go with someone and split gas. Just let me know if your interested. Ships ahoy at 11:00. Paul.

o.k just got everything put where it goes and all the corals came in large acros , blasto wessi , acan lord and many more. The acans are awsome great colors. hope to see everyone tomorrow. it should be a lot of fun! We will have hot dogs , sweets and drinks. see everyone tomorrow Erik at D.C's
